How to remove cross play in COD Modern Warfare Warzone and avoid cheaters [PS4 - Xbox One - PC]

In this guide we see how to disable the Cross Play function in Call of Duty Modern Warfare and also in Warzone mode.

Surely you already know that in Call of Duty Modern Warfare's Multiplayer modes it is possible to challenge players who play on other platforms, without any distinction. Thanks to the "Cross Play" mode, in fact, those who play on PS4 will be able to meet other players who play on Xbox One and PC in their games, and vice versa.

If you don't want this to happen and you want to play ONLY with other players who play on the same gaming platform as you, here's what you need to do:

Go to the Options menu.
Click on Account and then on Crossplay
Set the Crossplay item to "Disabled"
Save and exit

The main reasons that are pushing so many players to remove Cross Play are basically two:

1) you will avoid the (unfortunately many) incorrect players who on PC use all kinds of cheats, such as automatic aiming or even automatic headshots. Has it ever happened to you to die only to see in the deathcam that your opponent was shooting at random? Here, that was a bloody cheater

2) you will avoid playing with PC players who use mouse and keyboard. Although this is an absolutely legitimate thing, according to many, the advantage of those who play with mouse and keyboard compared to those who use a pad is undeniable in terms of control and speed. By disabling cross play, you will only play with players who use the same console and gamepad as you.
