Valheim - Guide on how to fast travel and build a portal

What you need

The first thing to do will be to craft a bronze pickaxe, as you will need to collect precious wood. The materials needed to build the bronze tools are 20 pieces of fine wood, 10 Gray Eyes of the Dwarves, and 1 Surtling Core.

Where to find the material

You will be able to make the portal quite early in the game, and this will happen after meeting the first boss in the game. You will have to defeat Elkthyr, in fact, to gain access to the Black Forest from the raven. In this area there are some skeletal guards who protect the entrances to many small dungeons found throughout the area.
