During the second mission (Atlas) of Call of Duty Advanced Warfare you will be taken to the shooting range to get some practice.

Excellent at the shooting range
You will have to hit the orange targets and absolutely avoid hitting the blue ones. Headshots will earn you more points (100), you won't need to hit ALL targets to get the excellent rating, especially if you manage to do a lot of headshots. Here is a video showing how to proceed, remember that you can use Overdrive, when available, to make things a little easier.

Excellent with grenades
After you finish at the shooting range you will move on to the grenade drill. To get the excellent rating, you have to be quick to switch grenade types and throw it, use smart grenades against red targets. If you run out of grenades you can always refuel on the sides.
