If you have just dived into the Mass Effect 3 multiplayer cooperative mode you are probably wondering what the hell to do with different people unlockable packages.

Instead of buying or unlocking weapons and characters directly, you will have to buy (through credits acquired in the game or with real money (azz !!! ed)) the various Recruit, Veteran, or Ghost packs that once opened will randomly unlock weapons, mods, upgrades or characters that can be used in multiplayer mode.

In this guide we see how the various unlockables are grouped and which packages you need to buy to get certain weapons. It begins

Recruit Packs cost 5.000 credits and in each of them you could find each item on the complete list below. Be careful though! With the Recruit packs you will ALWAYS get Common and Uncommon items until you have unlocked them all. Only later will you begin to find even more important items, that is, those that belong to the Rare and Ultra-Rare groups.

Veteran Packs cost 20.000 credits and being more expensive than the Recruit packs, they immediately give you the opportunity to get Rare items as well as Common and Uncommon ones.

Ghost packs cost 60.000 credits and being very expensive, they immediately give you the opportunity to get Ultra-rare items as well as Common, Uncommon and Rare ones.

Finally, as you will see in the full list below, there are specific objects which can only be unlocked by purchasing a certain type of package.

So which packages should you buy?

Surely it is not worthwhile to continue buying the Conscript packs in order to get to the Rare and Ultra-Rare items. The advice is to start with the Recruit packs and then, when you start to have more credits available, alternate them with the Veteran packs by throwing in between, from time to time, some Ghost packs. This way you should get to get better weapons, mods and characters in the shortest time possible. Here is the list showing all unlockables and which rarity group they belong to.
