Download and install Epic Games Launcher

To do this, simply connect to the official Epic Games portal and press the button DOWNLOAD THE EPIC GAMES LAUNCHER. By doing so, you will get the file EpicInstaller- [version] .msi. At this point, you just have to open the latter and follow the indicazioni that appear on the screen, more precisely press the buttons in succession Install e Yes, then waiting for it to complete automatically download additional files.

After that, you will find yourself in front of the Epic Games Launcher login screen. From the latter you can continue to carry out theaccesso through one of profiles you see on the screen, from Epic Games to those related to Facebook, Google, Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, Nintendo, Steam and Apple. Download Fortnite

Now that you've installed and configured the Epic Games Launcher, it's time to actually understand how to download fortnite for free. This clearly proceeding fromEpic Games Launcher (after logging in).

Well, once the latter is launched, all you have to do is click on the entry Shop, located at the top left, press on the box Search, to type “fortnite” and press on the item Fortnite. By doing this, you will reach the shop page for the title: click on the button GET, present on the right, then following the indicazioni that appear on the screen (usually just click on the buttons in succession PLACE YOUR ORDER e ACCEPT) to complete the transaction (I remind you that Fortnite is free).

Once this is done, press the button IN THE BOOKSHOP (or move to tab Library) and click the by tile Fortnite, then optionally choosing the percorso in which to place the game inside the computer, ticking the boxes Automatic updates e Create Shortcut and finally pressing the buttons Install e Yes. How to download Fortnite on console

How do you say? You don't want to install Fortnite on PC, but on consul? Don't worry: Fortnite is also available for free on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. In short, you can play the Epic Games title from several platforms.

The procedure to follow in these cases is always very similar. If you are wondering how to download fortnite on phone, you should know that the situation is a little more complicated than indicated for Windows PC and consoles. Indeed, for various matters related to committees, for some time now the game is no longer available on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. Put simply, be it up Android that of iOS / iPadOS you need to go through alternative methods. However, the latter are not lacking and therefore I am going to provide you with all the details that may be of interest to you.

Compatible devices and minimum requirements

As for, however, iPhone and iPad, in this case the situation is quite different, since you will have to go through the cloud gaming. There are therefore not too many requirements to keep in mind, but I advise you to keep iOS/iPadOS updated, to use a 5GHz Wi-Fi network and above all an Internet connection from at least 7Mbps (you may want to run a speed test).

Download Fortnite for Android

Now that you are aware of the availability of Fortnite on mobile devices, I would say that it is time to proceed with theinstalling the game on android.

Well, as already explained in a previous chapter of the guide, Fortnite is no longer available on the Google Play Store. In other words, as you can well imagine, you have to go through a manual installation via APK file to get the title of Epic Games. In any case, you don't have to worry: it is in fact the same software house behind the popular game that distributes it officially in this way.

To proceed, you just need to connect to the official Epic Games portal from your Android device, then tap the keys in succession Get it from the Epic Games App e Download anyway. After that, once the installation of apps from unknown sources has been enabled (you may want to go through a special file manager to open the APK file), just press the button INSTALL to get theEpic Games App.

So open the latter, using the appropriate icon on the Home screen or in the app drawer, then pressing the button GET, located in the box linked to Fortnite. After that, tap the button INSTALL to confirm your consent (you may need to enable the Epic Games App to install other apps, similar to what you did for the browser or file manager above).

Now, start Fortnite using the appropriate icon and wait for it to be completed downloading additional files (this may take some time). In any case, once the latter is finished you will be able to log in with your account and start playing the Epic Games title. In short, despite the absence of the game from the Play Store, as you can see the procedure is still quick.

Download Fortnite on iOS / iPadOS

If you are wondering how to download fortnite on ios o how to download fortnite on ipadOS, you are probably not aware of the issue relating to the availability of the Epic Games title in relation to Apple devices. In fact, for years now, following disputes related to fees withheld by Apple as regards the App Store digital store, Fortnite is no longer downloadable for iPhone and iPad.

This means that you cannot necessarily install the game on your trusted device using the classic method. However, this does not mean that it is not possible, despite everything, to have fun with Fortnite via an iPhone or an iPad. Indeed, the game is available within the catalog of the service Xbox CloudGaming. Reference is therefore made to the possibility of playing the title in the cloud, or by passing through one good internet connection.

The concept is essentially the one behind realities like Google Stadia: Fortnite is run on high-performance hardware located in some Microsoft/Xbox facility, while your device is simply sent the real-time video stream. Put simply, the title doesn't actually run on your iPhone or iPad, but the Internet connection is used to play the game without too many problems (although in some cases visual artifacts and lag may occur).

In short, iPhone and iPad are probably not the best devices to take advantage of the Epic Games title (and in fact I advise you to consider the other platforms mentioned here for a better experience), but the interesting aspect is that Playing Fortnite in the cloud via Xbox Cloud Gaming is free.
