How to access Fortnite on PC

Your friends all play Fortnite, one of the most famous free Battle Royale in recent years. So you've decided to try it yourself but, unfortunately, not being very computer savvy, you can't figure out how to access it from your computer. That's actually how things are, am I right? Then you'll be happy to know that you've come to the right place at the right time!

In today's guide, in fact, I will illustrate you in detail how to access fortnite on pc, also indicating what are the essential system requirements for your computer to correctly play the famous Epic Games game and what are the steps you need to take to start playing.

Minimum requirements

Before explaining in detail how to access fortnite on pc, it is my duty to tell you which are the technical requirements which must be respected in order to play this game correctly. You should know, in fact, that if your computer does not meet these requirements, Fornite may not be played, or at least not as it should.

• Operating System: Windows 7/8/10 64-bit;
• Processor: i3-3225 3.3 GHz o equivalente;
• RAM: 4 GB;
• Video Card: Intel HD 4000 o Intel Iris Pro 5200.

These below are the recommended requirements, to be respected in order to enjoy a more satisfying gaming experience.

• Operating System: Windows 7/8/10 64-bit;
• Processor: i5-7300U 3.5 GHz o superiore;
• RAM: 8 GB;
• Video memory: 2 GB VRAM;
• Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 or AMD Radeon HD 7870 or a video card with DX11 support.

Finally, I warn you that if you want to play Fortnite on Mac, purtroppo al momento non puoi: Apple ed Epic Games sono in forte contrasto dall’estate del 2020 (a causa delle violazioni, a opera di Epic Games, di alcune norme legate agli acquisti in-app su App Store) e questo ha portato alla rimozione dal gioco dalle piattaforme del colosso di Cupertino. How to access Fortnite from PC

If your computer is capable of running Fortnite properly, it's time to see how to access the game from your computer. You will find all the information you need in the following chapters.

Creare un account su Fortnite

The first thing to do is to create an account for Fortnite. This is only possible via the portal epic Games. To perform this operation, go to the official Fortnite website and press the button Log in, which you find at the top right.

Once this is done, in the box you see, press the button No, to access the account registration form. As you can see, you are presented with several choices for registering an account: you can opt for an external login service and, in this case, you can choose whether to register with your account Facebook, Google, Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, Nintendo or Steam. All you have to do is select one of these services and follow the on-screen login instructions to link your account with your Epic Games account.

Alternatively, you can opt to create an Epic Games account through your address Email. In this case, you have to choose the option Sign up with email and fill out the form presented to you. Using the appropriate fields, select your country of residence (Italy), your name e last name, your nickname,email address and Password to be associated with the account you are creating.

Once this is done, put a check mark in the boxes at the bottom and then click on the button Continue, to continue. By doing so, you will receive an email containing a link to complete the activation of your new Epic Games account. Therefore, follow the instructions indicated in the message received. Scaricare Epic Games Launcher

Once you've created an account, it's time to download the free software Epic Games Launcher: This is a game client that allows you to log in and run Fortnite. In addition, there is a virtual store of video games, also developed by companies other than Epic Games, which can be purchased or downloaded for free.

To download this software, first head to the official Fortnite webpage. At this point, the game launcher installation file will be automatically downloaded on the screen shown to you.

Once the download is complete, open the obtained .msi file and, in the screen that is shown to you, press the button installto start and finish the setup automatically.

After it starts Epic Games Launcher (if this does not happen, proceed manually), all the essential data for the functioning of the software will be downloaded.

How to enter Fortnite PC

Now that everything is ready on your PC, it's time to see how to enter fortnite from pc. You will have to perform two basic operations: log in with your Epic Games account in the previously downloaded video game launcher and then download and install Fortnite to be able to run it.

First, after you've installed the software Epic Games Launcher, you will be prompted to log in with your account, which you created earlier thanks to the suggestions I gave you in this chapter. Therefore, choose one of the options on the screen, choosing between the account account Facebook, Google, Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, Nintendo, Steam or theApple ID.

Alternatively, if you created an Epic Games account using your email address, press the button Log in with Epic Games and enter the email address and password associated with your account. Did you forget your password? You can recover it by following the advice I gave you in this guide of mine.

Dopo che l’accesso sarà stato effettuato, devi procedere con il download di Fornite. Per fare ciò, nella schermata principale di Epic Games Launcher, tap on the tab Shop and then use the box Search, located at the top right, to type the term “fortnite”.

At this point, among the search results, click on the one named Fortnite and, in the game tab, click on the button Get, taking care to follow the very short procedure on the screen which will validate the free association of the product to your account.

Arrived at this point, selecting the tab Library, you will be able to access the list of video games linked to your account. Identify, therefore, Fortnite and click on it to start the game download and installation process.

Then press the button Install and wait for the operation to complete. When the installation procedure is complete, to start playing, just double-click the Fortnite quick start icon. You will not be prompted to sign in with your account, as the profile you linked to the Epic Games Launcher will automatically be used. Convenient, right?
