In Assassin's Creed Syndicate there are 13 unique materials which are indispensable for craft very precious objects. As explained in the Assassin's Creed Syndicate unlockable costumes guide, for example, the Wabar Pearl will be used to create the "Maximum Dracula" costume, while the Sea Silk is essential to obtain the Baron Jordan's Finery costume.

Obviously these objects, of which there is only one example in the entire game, are not only used to build new costumes, but also to obtain very useful objects or skills.
