earn big money in Assassin's Creed Rogue proceed in this way. Go to any outpost that has two or more guardians, kill them leaving only one alive. Now loot the warehouse for good, then hit the "start" button and go to the Shay upgrades, then return to the game (this will save your progress).

At this point, let yourself be killed by the enemy you left alive and you will see that you will return to the beginning of the outpost, with the warehouse that will be full of resources again. Repeat the same process as many times as you want to accumulate lots of money and resources. Here is a video showing the process.
