You can copy the contents of a PDF, as long as its author hasn't applied any security settings that prevent it from being copied. To copy extended content from a PDF, you can export it to Word, Excel or PowerPoint format.

Right click on the document and choose Document properties.

Click on the tab Protection and check the section Document Restrictions Summary.

Right click on the document; from the pop-up menu, choose Selection tool.

Drag to select text or click to select an image.

Right click on the selected item and choose Copy.
