Best Fortnite PC Settings
The PC is the platform where settings probably matter most for performance on Fortnite. In fact, the options to adjust are many: from those relating to the input to the graphic ones.
Best Fortnite PC Keyboard Settings
If you are a "classic" PC gamer, you are probably playing Fortnite with mouse and keyboard and you have no intention of switching to the controller. So let's see what the best settings for Fortnite in this sense.
My advice is to use the key combination "promoted" by Ninja, which is the most famous Fortnite streamer and pro player in the world. In fact, during some live shows made on platforms such as Microsoft's Mixer and Amazon's Twitch, Ninja showed his audience what his choices are in terms of commands and sensitivity on PC.
The streamer often keeps the option Mouse X sensitivity a 0.100, while that Mouse Sensitivity Y is set to 0.070. The sensitivities of movement e surprise of the mouse are instead a 0.3. As for the “cursor speed”, Ninja prefers to keep a value of 800 DPI.
Moving on to the controls, the pro player decided to change some settings. Specifically, Ninja has set the key C per crouch down (default would be Left Ctrl). Also, it changed the keys to access the fourth and fifth weapon present inInventory, assigning them to the buttons respectively Z e X keypad (default would be the number keys 5 e 6).
Other changes made concern i keys to build. In fact, at a competitive level it is very important to be able to build structures quickly and Ninja believes that the default configuration, which assigns construction mode to keys F1 to F5, does not allow building at high speeds.
For this reason, the pro player awarded the construction of the Wall and stairs - the two objects he uses most often - ai side mouse buttons, the realization of the floor to the button Q of the keyboard, the construction of the roof a Left Shift and the placement of traps to the button 5 of the keyboard.
In case you don't have a mouse with side buttons, I recommend that you check out my guide to the best gaming mice.
In short, these are the settings in terms of sensitivity and commands chosen by the most famous Fortnite player in the world. This is a strategic configuration: as you may have already guessed, all the keys set by Ninja are located in the part that surrounds the classic buttons WASD used for movement.
This means that the keys are all reachable with a minimal left hand movement and therefore they can allow you to carry out the various actions more quickly than the players who use the default controls of Fortnite. It may seem like a small thing, but I can assure you that in reality, in some contexts, it proves to be a great competitive advantage.
Of course, it may take some time to master this key combination, but once you get it right, the results will show.
Best Fortnite controller settings
Some players prefer to play Fortnite with the controller rather than via mouse and keyboard.
For this input method I'm going to examine the configuration used by the well-known professional player From Ghost Moon, which is actually very similar to the one used by almost all pro players who play Fortnite with the controller.
Well, the sensitivity X is set to 0.700, While the sensitivity Y è 0.680. The sensitivities of surprise e movement I am at 0.350, the sensitivity of construction is equal to 1.654 and the sensitivity of edit and of 1.900. As regards the deadzone, the values chosen by Ghost Aydan are 0.12/0.10.
Speaking of commands, in my view, Fortnite already implements some excellent ones preset designed for all possible styles of play. In particular, I recommend that you try Fast builder, configuration that allows you to build structures quickly, e Combat professional, which will allow you to anticipate the opponents during the shootings.
Of course it is also possible to choose one custom configuration according to your needs but, in most cases, the presets are fine. Think that even some pro players keep the controls practically unchanged from this point of view. In fact, contrary to what happens on a PC, the possibility of moving the commands does not vary too much the execution speed of the same, since the buttons are more or less all at the same distance.
Best Fortnite graphics settings
Another aspect that can make the difference on Fortnite for PC is the graphic settings. In fact, the latter can have a big impact on both performance and game viewing.
It might seem counterintuitive, but pro players often set it up all graphics options to a minimum. This is to maximize the performance of the game and therefore have the greatest possible fluidity, which for see enemies better, since the environment is "cleaner" and devoid of secondary details (shadows, effects and so on).
To give you a concrete example, Ninja often sets a video resolution of 1920 1080 pixels x, let her viewing distance su Lontano and set all the options related to details su Low, putting on OFF il V-Sync, Motion blur,Antialiasing and Umber. Of course, the pro player always leaves the option Show FPS su ON, in order to monitor the performance of the game.
In short, contrary to what one might think, the best graphics settings for Fortnite may not actually predict who knows what quality in visual terms. If you just can't play to the smallest of details, try putting all the options on Medium: it could be a good compromise.
Best Fortnite PS4 Settings
How do you say? Games on PlayStation 4 and would you like to know how to improve in the use of the controller? No problem, I'll explain it to you right away!
Well, the indications I gave you in the chapter on the best settings for Fortnite on controllers are also valid for the Sony console and there is nothing else to add in terms of options. However, there is one thing I haven't talked about so far: i best controllers.
In fact, there are special ones controller which are used by pro players to make the most of the settings I explained earlier. Specifically, they are called Pro Gaming Controllers. The ones recommended by Sony are the Razer Raiju Gaming Controller and Nacon Pro Revolution Controller.
See offer on eBayThey bet a lot on ergonomics e reactivity in response to commands, so they can provide some competitive advantage and make you improve a lot on Fortnite. Also, the options in terms of sensibility they will work as they should with these controllers and, by purchasing them, you will have the same tools at your disposal as the pro players of the Epic Games title.
Best mobile Fortnite settings
Fortnite is also available for mobile devices, so you may want to learn how to adjust the game's settings to improve fluency and play better overall.
Well, for Fortnite Mobile I suggest you set the touch screen sensitivity and target sensitivity a 0.60, leaving the other options unchanged. Put simply, the aiming sensitivity is lowered than the default in order to be able to focus better on enemies without wasting too much time, while the sensitivity of the touch screen is raised to make a little easier to use virtual buttons.
For the rest, on mobile the control system provides different preset. My advice is to use that of default, since the character fires automatically as soon as an enemy enters the crosshairs, but if you think you are particularly good you might also think about enabling the dedicated button, so as not to waste too many shots.
In any case, on mobile it is really difficult to give precise advice, since the gaming experience varies a lot depending on your own style of play. The touch controls are always a bit difficult to manage and therefore I can only advise you to play and try to find the combination that suits you. I also remind you that Fortnite is a game continuously updated and therefore developers may decide to change / add settings at any moment.
