Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag's "Violated Tombs" and Mayan Stalae Riddles Guide

The "Violated Tombs" Trophy / Objective asks you to unlock the secret door in Tulum. To do this we will first have to solve all 16 puzzles of Mayan Stalae. The first of these puzzles is part of Sequence 4, Memory 1 and you will find it as you progress through the story as it cannot be skipped. After completing this sequence, the other 15 will also become available.

Some of these are located in areas of the ocean that are considered dangerous, so you will have to go through the story and upgrade your ship before you can access the places that hold them. You will be able to see the locations where the puzzles are located directly on the map, but only if you synchronize the observation points of the area you are in. To check which ones you have already taken, simply access the relevant item in the game menu.

How to unlock the Mayan Costume

After you have solved all 16 riddles with the help of the guide below, you will need to head to Tulum where a navigation point with the name "Mayan Costume" will appear on your map.
