If you are playing Battlefield 1 you have surely noticed that in the new chapter of the series the rewards system with the battle packs has changed quite sharply.
The first thing you need to know is that, at least for the moment, the only way to unlock new battle packs is to play online and complete multiplayer matches in the different modes. At the end of each game, the avatars of players who have received a Battle Pack will appear at the bottom of the screen where the best players are highlighted.
This will unlock the "standard" version of the battlepacks which can contain these elements:
- new weapon skins: are particular customizations of weapons with a rarity that varies between special, precious and legendary (indicated from the most common to the most rare)
- boost XP: multiplier bonus of experience points earned
- weapon fragments: these are unique, very rare pieces of melee weapons. Each weapon consists of 5 pieces, if you manage to find all 5 pieces of a weapon in the battlepacks, this will be added to your inventory.
But that's not all. In addition to the Standard Battlepacks, there are also "Enhanced" and "Superior" ones.
How to get Power Battlepacks and what they contain
The only way to have these more valuable Battlepacks than the Standard ones is to use the scraps, that is the game currency of the Battlefield 1 Multiplayer mode. Scraps are obtained only and exclusively by discarding the objects found in the Battlepacks. Upgraded Battle Packs cost 450 scrap and are better than the standard ones because:
- they guarantee to get a Prized or Legendary skin
- give more chances to get a legendary skin
- give more chance to get a weapon fragment
How to get the Superior Battlepacks and what they contain
The only way to have these Battlepacks more valuable than the Standard and Enhanced ones is to use the discards, or the game currency of the Battlefield 1 Multiplayer mode. The discards are obtained only and exclusively by discarding the objects found in the Battlepacks. Superior battle packs cost 900 discards and are better than standard and upgraded ones because:
- guarantee to get a legendary skin
- give more chance to get a weapon fragment
As you can see, due to the way the Battlepack system is structured, it all depends on the standard battle packs that you get randomly playing in the multiplayer modes of Battlefield 1. It all starts with them, there is no other way to get upgraded or higher packs, there is no other way to earn scraps than to dismantle the rewards obtained with batterpacks. At this point the question arises spontaneously:
What do you need to do to receive the Battle Packs at the end of the game?
As already mentioned the mechanism is completely random. In the indications of the game it is written that you have to stand out in battle to get the battlepack, but this is not true at all. I personally happened to get a Battle Pack even after playing a less than exciting game. Similarly, if you notice it you will notice that not all the players who are listed among the best of the game actually receive the battle pack. Apparently, therefore, the only way to increase the odds of having new battle packs is to increase the number of games played. Good luck!!!
