With the arrival of PlayStation 5, many users intend to put their hand to some of the previous generation titles, to see what are the actual improvements on next-gen. Insomniac Games, from this point of view, he definitely did a great job publishing Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered, a new version of the title released on PlayStation 4 in 2018 that boasts several upgrades, such as the ability to play at 60FPS or the introduction of ray tracing technology, which allows for more defined and realistic reflections.
Fortunately, there is also the possibility of transfer your data from PS4 to PS5, for all those who do not want to start the incredible adventure of Peter Parker all over again. Let's see how to do it together in this short guide.
First, you will need to still be in possession of the PS4 version of the title and of a PlayStation 4. Surely this is a requirement that not everyone can satisfy (probably some of you will have sold your console to move to the next-gen) and for this reason, we will show you a way to transfer your saves too. without you still have your PS4. Here is the procedure to follow in case you are in possession of the copy of the game and the console of the last generation:
- First of all, check that you have updated the game to the latest version, on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
- Launch Marvel's Spider-Man on PlayStation 4 and, from the initial menu, press R1 to load your saved data.
- Now go to PlayStation 5 and start Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered; from the initial menu press R1 to download the data.
At this point you will have successfully transferred your saves and you can pick up your game right where you left off. In case you have sold your PlayStation 4, you can ask a friend of yours to log in with your PSN account and use the procedure described above.
