There are some prerequisites that you need to know before moving on to the installation.
- The device must be running TWRP or CWM custom recovery.
- USB Debugging must be enabled in Developer Options.
After checking all the requirements, read the steps mentioned below:
Phase 1 - Download the Gapps package for your phone, depending on which Android version you are running.
Phase 2 - After downloading, copy the Gapps, and transfer them to your device.
Phase 3 - Turn off your phone and restart it in TWRP or CWM custom recovery. Usually, it restarts by holding down the button volume Down + the Power button for 5 seconds.
Phase 4 - Once the device has restarted via custom recovery;
- [With TWRP Recovery] Tap on install and select the package you downloaded in step 1.
- [Per CWM Recovery] Toccate Install zip from sdcard … and select the package you downloaded in step 1.
Phase 5 - Once you have finished the installation, restart the device, you should now have installed the Google Apps.
That's all! If you've done everything correctly, all Google Apps should be in the applications menu.
