For the first time in decades, it is possible to get your hands on a world-famous hero, probably one of the most well-known and loved characters in the world. Blizzard: welcome to Deckard Cain in the world of Heroes of the Storm! The centennial old man comes to lend a hand to the heroes of the Nexus, ready to face the forces of evil with his knowledge and his support skills. Let's see in detail how our hero behaves!
The Journey Of The Wise
Deckard Cain he has always been a scholar and a historian, perhaps the wisest that the whole Sanctuarium has ever seen. Saved by the heroes of Diablo II, our companion led the valiant fighters to the gates of the underworld to drive out Diablo and his brothers once and for all. Allowing himself some well-deserved rest, he settled in Tristram, where she had time to complete her journals and raise an adopted granddaughter. Unfortunately, during the events of Diablo III, our Deckard Cain left us, killed by Magda's hand one of the four demons trying to bring Diablo back to life with the Dark Stone. The absence of the historic old man in the third chapter of the saga that sees him as protagonist is felt very much: many would have liked to see how he would have fared on that occasion but, as often happens, sacrifice is a choice that benefits those who remains after.
Support The Team
As it was logical to think, Deckard acts as a great supporter for the team in Heroes of the Storm: you certainly did not imagine that the old man could be a fearless warrior, right? Well in the current meta-game of the game, Deckard is positioned as second choice in the main supporters, thanks to a record-breaking versatility, he excels in the maps Battlefield of Eternity, Braxis, Haunted Mines, Infernal Shrines e Tomb of the Spider Queen. The maps in which our historian suffers the most are Warhead Junction e Garden of Terror: very few if we think of the amount of maps in the game, which makes it an excellent healer for the whole team. From a point of view of the build that you would like to bring to the battlefield, we recommend a Follower approach, that is, alongside some of the characters that require a large amount of sustenance, in order to be a sort of bodyguard for the talented character in combat but not very resistant.
At level one, you choose the skill Field of Study, which will allow you to expand the damage of your allies. At level four you choose the potion that suits you best, based on the map you are in or the team composition you have prepared pre-game: remember that the ruby has nothing wrong with it, it is simply not always the best choice. At level seven things get interesting: the Kanai's Cube is almost always the best tactical choice but much depends on the enemies you face. The most powerful final ability, not even to do it on purpose, is just "Stop for a moment and listen ", which will allow you to put your enemies to sleep for a full three seconds, giving your team plenty of time for a powerful attack or to escape by sacrificing the supporter. Serenity will be your virtue, in fact choosing talent Safe in Number it will allow you to expand your armor to the whole group and become a true unstoppable platoon, as long as there are three of you. At level twenty you finally upgrade your final skill with talent Respect the Elders, which will add “blindness” status to enemies caught awaking after the sleep you inflicted on them.
