Anyone who has played the recent Call of Duty knows very well that in the multiplayer mode of the game, reaching the maximum achievable level is equivalent to obtaining a "Prestige" and then starting again from level 1.

Here how Prestige works in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and what rewards you can unlock.

Reach Level 80 in Multiplayer Mode to unlock Prestige Mode and the Prestige Shop. Each time you level up to level 80 along with Prestige you will also get a Prestige token. You can use the token in the shop to unlock one of the bonuses that we list at the bottom of the guide or save it for later use. There are a total of ten Prestige levels. Once you reach the last one, you will have the option to reset all stats and progress and start all over again. It must be said that with the prestigious you will also unlock exclusive titles and emblems that will never be reset or deleted from your profile. But that's not all. You can also earn prestige tokens by completing other tasks, such as finishing the campaign in Special Ops mode, completing it on Veteran difficulty, or completing certain tasks in Special Ops mode.

Additionally, you will earn prestige tokens if you have earned prestige in previous games in the series:
Call Of Duty: Black Ops
Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Call of Duty: World At War
Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

and in this case the Prestige Shop will be immediately available.

Finally, here is the list of bonuses that you can buy with Prestige tokens:

1. Extra custom class
2. Double XP (2 hours during your next Prestige)
3. Double XP Weapon (2 hours during your next Prestige)
4. Regular Package (Callsign Title and Emblem)
5. Unlock Equipment (unlocks a weapon, equipment or perk forever)
6. Hardened package
7. Veteran Pack
8. Reset all stats (reach 10th Prestige)
